About
Growing up, Tom moved around quite a bit, splitting time between Middle Earth, Tatooine, and the Enterprise. Some of his early successes include the defeat of the goblin hordes by his D&D character “Sir Thomas the Green Glowing Knight,” and his directorial debut—a scintillating fan film featuring special effects he made on his Amiga.
Tom’s first feature film, the uber-indie sci-fi 95ers, went into international distribution and found exuberant fans all around the world, including more than a few time travelers. His craft slowly improved, and now he’s an Emmy-winning creator of stories for TV, movies, and animation… with nefarious plans to invade other mediums soon. His production company Martian Studios enjoys planetary conquest, as well as creating commercial media for all kinds of clients.
Tom has been the subject of media coverage and even a documentary about his experiences as a filmmaking family man. He sits on the board of directors for TABC so he can teach aspiring young authors all about the Oxford comma, and you may find him at a Con pontificating about what happens to the soul when one is “beamed” off the transporter pad.
